I’m working with probably a dozen consultants right now who have so much to offer… but there’s a problem.
They’re a little afraid of putting it to the market because they don’t know how the social media masses are going to respond.
And I get that.
I have that kind of fear a lot, actually.
We put out an enormous amount of content. We’ve been doing that for years…
And still, probably once a week, I’ll have that moment of doubt where I think, “This isn’t good, this isn’t going to help anyone, it’s going to have 0 impact.”
And that’s kind of the point…
We are all our own worst critics and our worst competition.
We all have that negative voice in the back of our heads that’s been instilled by parents, teachers, professors, bosses, that basically says, “I’m not good enough.”
And the thing is, we don’t have to listen. Not only are we the worst critics of ourselves in terms of harshness, but also in terms of quality.
Regarding our own content, we aren’t very good judges of what’s good vs not good.
