Because here’s the thing:
Building a team is probably not for everyone.
Some are content running a small shop and being a solo consultant, and that’s perfectly fine.
However, if you decide to build a team…
Then I must warn you against the very thing that could bring your business to its knees…
And that’s a level of management burden that’s going to overwhelm you in the long run.
What do I mean?
It’s building a team of yes people who just take orders from you and never accomplish much.
Instead, because you have to micromanage them, all they do is give you headaches.
I tried this and believe me; it didn’t work out so well.
So here’s what I did instead…
I surrounded myself with people who are in their own right better at the thing they do than I ever will be.
And what we created was a team of people who are very much dialed into their area of expertise…
And frankly could contribute to our clients, our organization, and the market in ways I could never do on my own.
Bringing me more success than I could have ever got on my own.
