Set The Tone

Should I lower my prices?

Should I negotiate?

Should I agree to the clients’ terms just because I need the money?

You know, for all the content I put out…

And all the indirect “teaching” I do…

I still get this question a lot.

I think it just comes from a place of insecurity. People are uncomfortable with growth, with demanding these high sums for themselves and their expertise…

And so they reflexively think of lowering their prices or negotiating their terms in the hopes that they’ll win the client’s trust and therefore the deal. 

That’s not how it works.

So whenever I get that question, here’s my response:
