As a market leader, you will be creating and distributing a ton of content.
(I always wonder at the firms who claim to be market leaders but produce practically zero content. Or they put out like 1 piece per week. To be a leader you’ve got to make your voice heard, ESPECIALLY over all the clamor that’s out there today).
But I digress…
When you start putting out leadership content, some people will love it.
Others will outright hate it.
And the haters will show up out of nowhere to whine and gripe and just try to take all the attention for themselves.
So, when this started happening to me, I took it personally.
Till I realized — it’s not about ME.
It’s about THEM.
