And this happens all the time with us consultants…
We often project our money beliefs onto our pricing and the prospect.
So if you have developed a set of beliefs that tells you that your work is worth $5,000…
Then it only makes sense that you’ll charge $5k for your services…
Yet here’s what you don’t realize…
…your clients don’t have the same set of beliefs as you.
So $5k may be chump change to them for what you do.
Ultimately, they don’t have all the preconceived notions about money as you do.
So all your beliefs about money… check them at the door when it comes to sales conversations…
…because while you might think $5,000 is a fair & reasonable price… they might think it’s too little.
They might even smirk at your price because they would have paid $20k…$30k or 40k more for it.
Makes sense?
