Are you a freelancer or an entrepreneur?

Are you a freelancer or an entrepreneur?

You might be saying,

“Ahmad, what’s the difference?”

To me it’s about what your money does for your business.

A ton of consultants are familiar with this phenomenon: We’ll start helping clients, and they start to get a little bit of money.

Which is great.

That’s the point.

And we’re happy for them.

But then…

They start to spend it.

Not on their business,

but on Fancy cars

Big houses

Rolexes

And that’s on them, I’m not judging, but I will say this:

The story you tell about money is the story that comes true.

People who get money, then let it sit in their garage, are probably mostly freelancers.

They don’t think in terms of business.

They just work to fund their lifestyle.

And hey, that’s on them.

But it’s not a long term play.

It’s dangerous.

It’s not entrepreneurial.
