And so when I first started out, I was super intimidated by all these other people in my space.
They have these great video production teams.
They had all this high dollar equipment.
They could make these great posts on Facebook and LinkedIn.
They could crank out these amazing ads.
And they knew how to run ads without losing money (I did NOT have this skill at the time)….
It was super intimidating.
I remember trying to run ads on Facebook…
I blew like $1,000 and got zero leads.
I didn’t know what I was doing. I thought I did, sure. But the extent of my lack of knowledge quickly became very clear.
I wasn’t going to give up… because by then I had already made the decision that this is what I’m going to do. I loved helping consultants. I loved the process of marketing. So I knew this was my calling…
But I just wasn’t seeing the results that it seems like everyone else was seeing.
It was frustrating, and I was getting really down on myself.
I didn’t know it at the time, but I was running into the single biggest obstacle to getting “wins”.
(Everyone runs into this at some point).
