Look, I get it all the time.
Time and time again, consultants come to me and want to know how to charge $500/hour… or even $1000/hour.
And I tell them all the same thing:
Once you focus on how much you can charge per hour, you restrict yourself. Let me explain.
Because when you charge your clients for your time, there’s only so much they can pay you until they start feeling ridiculous.
I mean – how many times have you paid someone $5,000/hour.
Instead, you should switch from billing for time… to billing for value.
This one simple transition can make you more money as a consultant – because get this…
People not for your time but for the value you bring them.
So rather than focusing on increasing your hourly rate, focus on how you can give your client exactly what they want.
