^ Okay that last one’s a bit extreme, but I’m sure it happens.
FACTS:
There are lots of reasons why a prospect might not buy that has nothing to do with you.
You could’ve been perfect.
You could’ve done everything exactly right.
Your sales process could’ve been flawless.
(it never is truly flawless, but for argument’s sake, let’s say it was…)
And they STILL might not buy.
Is it your fault?
Of course not.
There are a million reasons why they might not buy and most of them have nothing to do with you.
So take it off the chin, learn from the experience, and move on to the next deal.
