Should you hire someone to take care of marketing?
I often get this question:
“Who is going to do all this work? Who’s going to create all this marketing you’re telling us to create?”
And my answer is this:
You’re the best marketer you have, and nobody knows your business better than you. The messaging, the offer, the operations, the subject matter expertise, all of that falls squarely on your shoulders.
So when I’m talking about producing a lot of content…
That falls on you, too.
And if you expect a first-day hire to come in and figure it out — nail your messaging and get your brand — you’re going to be sorely disappointed.
