I’m spending 2 whole days attending some training in Nashville this week.
Including travel, I’m going to be out of pocket for 2.5 days, or half my week.
That’s a LOT of time that I’m not spending working with clients, taking sales calls, or otherwise working on my business.
Honestly, it was tough to make the time.
But in the end, I didn’t have a choice.
Because you can’t give what you don’t have.
It’s my JOB to continuously improve my craft and upgrade my skills…
So I can deliver more value to my clients.
Taking online courses, watching webinars and reading books are all fine and well…
But none of that is a replacement for a real world, in person learning experience.
Where you have to clear your schedule and immerse yourself in a topic or field of study, surrounded my peers on the same journey.
It’s been too long since I’ve done something like this. And I wish I’d done it sooner.
What about you?
When’s the next time you’re going to get out of the office and upgrade your skills?
If you don’t have something on the calendar yet, better get on it 🙂
