There are two types of consultants…
The first is the low level service provider.
This consultant does whatever clients want them to do.
They sell service and solutions.
They take orders.
And they do fine work.
But as soon as the client can find a cheaper low level service provider, they’ll take their business elsewhere.
The second is the high impact leader.
This consultant doesn’t sell services or solutions.
They may deliver those things transactionally.
But what they’re really selling is change.
They’re selling the client on a better future, a better state, a better way of doing things.
They lead clients towards a compelling vision.
They offer to be the guide on that journey.
And they leave clients completely transformed.
There’s a world of a difference between these two consultants.
But it all begins by answering one question…
What change are you trying to make?
