I once asked a friend about repairing some drywall in my home.
He started going into all the details of how to do it…
… a step by step process.
I stopped him and said, I don’t need to know all that. Please just tell me if you can do the repair and make it look good.
The answer was yes…
That was all I needed to hear.
And this is all your clients need to know, too.
They don’t want you to overwhelm them with the details of HOW you will solve their problem…
They just want to feel confident you can get them the end results they desire — that you CAN solve their problem.
Because a confused buyer does NOT buy.
Going into all the nuances of how you’ll help doesn’t make you sound smarter or more of an expert.
Don’t make them regret asking you…
Stay out of the weeds!
And only tell them what they need to know.
