Just today I had a conversation with a consultant that we’re going to be doing some work with.
The founder initially thought he wanted to build a larger practice, and a larger firm.
He was like, “… And then I want to hire MORE consultants and bring on a bigger team so we can expand through our people…”
And look, if that’s what you want, that’s 100% a viable path.
There’s a really clear strategy to do so, one we could’ve helped with, in fact.
But in our second conversation of the day, he said, “You know what? Maybe I don’t wanna build the team. Maybe I don’t want more staff. Maybe I don’t want the headache that comes with that…”
